Support Fund for the Young Communists of Bouches-du-Rhône

Dear comrades and friends,

The Young Communists of Bouches-du-Rhône (JC 13) are launching an exceptional fundraising campaign to help open a new, larger organizing space for our activities.

Since 2019, following our exclusion from the premises of the French Communist Party (PCF), we have continued to grow independently. The year 2021 marked a major turning point with the acquisition of our first dedicated space — a vital step that secured our financial and political autonomy.

Since then, JC 13 has expanded significantly. The 2023 pension reform struggle was a key moment that strengthened our organization on all fronts.

We currently share our space with Ligne Rouge (“Red Line”), an association of communist activists dedicated to the ideological education of workers, political agitation, and the reconstruction of a revolutionary class-based Communist Party rooted in Marxism-Leninism.

Our space hosts not only our own events — political education, organizing meetings, community gatherings — but also supports other progressive youth groups. Inspired by the tradition of “People’s Houses” from the workers’ movement, we have always envisioned our space as open, collective, and militant: a hub for solidarity, exchange, and dialogue between youth and the organized labor movement.

After four years of growth, we have reached the limits of our current space. A larger location will allow us to deepen our political work, host more people, and better support workers’ and popular struggles across our city and region.

To make this possible, we need to raise an additional €3,000.

We call on all our friends, comrades, and supporters to show their solidarity: every donation, however small, will strengthen our organization and help train, mobilize, and politicize a new generation of fighters for the working class.

Supporting JC 13 means reinforcing the organized youth movement, contributing to the rise of new revolutionary militants, and playing a part in rebuilding a Communist Party worthy of our time.
